Type MSEVP The Dispatch Packaging Unit for Prescription Lenses is a large scale production machine which gathers both prescription lens envelopes (right and left), a delivery note, ID card, and cleaning clothe along with other accessories; and places them into a larger dispatch envelope. Optional is the automatic sorting between different destinations to reduce and optimize shipping times and costs, while the completely automatic packaging prevents any mispackaging. The PPOS system, integrated in the unit, detects the μ-engravings or the upper segment line and identifies the semi-finished by reading the identification code (check of product code, Addition, base, eye, logo at the edge or under the μ-engravings) by Optical Character Recognition. The inspected lenses are then inked by a robot, permitting a large flexibility in image choice (10 plates – 20 images). The data of this machine can be transmitted to the automatic packaging unit (MESF), eliminating any product mispack.

FOCOVISION SPF-3 The FocovisionTM by Transmission SPF-3 is used in optical laboratories where the lenses are mounted into frames. It is connected to the computer network, from which it receives the nominal values of the prescription lens. Its main advantages are repeatability, accuracy, and easy calibration. It performs a lens optical power measurement compliant with ISO/ANSI Standards by using a light beam according to ‘IOA’ (Infinity On Axis) configuration at a certain wavelength (546 nm or 587nm) and by measuring in all directions (360 degrees – “ring method”). In addition, it’s equipped with a frame positioning device and has a user-friendly interface, permitting an operator to learn how to perform the complete lens control of the mounted lenses with little training required.
