WATER BASED OVERPRINT VARNISHES
Dispersion varnishes are used in sheet offset printing and flexo printing for a wide range of applications
Dispersion varnishes are used in sheet offset printing for a wide range of applications . They are used to prevent scratches on the ink applied on thick-weight matt coatings in brochure printing, as well as to give a glossy, matt, and semi-matt appearance. Low migration and odorless dispersion varnishes play a complementary role in the applications of low migration inks that have come to the fore in food packaging printing in recent years. They save time by ensuring that the ink is processed after printing without waiting for the drying time at the end of printing. The biggest feature that distinguishes our dispersion varnishes from other protective chemicals is that they are water-based. As dispersion varnishes are water-based, they do not cause odor problems encountered in oil-based varnishes and yellowing on paper. Dispersion varnishes represent a more economical solution than cellophane, and UV varnish applications. With their inline application on the printing machine, they provide a time advantage in order to respond to urgent customer demands.
